FS: Hilux rear end converted to fit TE72 Reply  Edit

Hello all, I have a Toyota 4cyl Hilux rear end that was converted to fit a TE72, and the diff is welded. I just drove on this rear end from Washington with no issues. I pulled it because I just pulled apart my car to swap into another car, and I can't use this for the swap. The welds aren't the cherriest looking, but they aren't terrible, and like I said, I just drove over 1000 miles on it no probs. I also have 2 nice offset 16" rims that have brand new tires that Im willing to sell with the swap for an additional $180. Let me know if you're interested, thanks. If you want you can text me at (925)-321-8579 too.

~Price drop to $225~

IF I DON'T SELL THIS WITHIN 2 WEEKS I'M THROWING IT AWAY.

Got some questions. are you talking about the welds on the housing or the spider gears? Did it whine? Is it noticeably wider? Do the ebrake cables have to be rigged? Sorry more out of lack of research but I'm interested. Lmk

The welds on the housing. No whining, no weird noises. To me it wasn't noticeably wider, it actually looks stock except the pumpkin is bigger. The E-brake cables weren't attached, but it didn't look difficult to install. It was just a cable stop on the end of a cable, so I figure it just goes on an arm to activate the E-brake when pulled.

Oh OK I figure it shoukdnt be to hard to make the cables work somehow. I asked about the width because I was thinking I wanted to keep the supras but I forget I've never seen a 4 lug pick up. Lol. Can u email me some pics? My email is vuitorico@Gmail.com

I haven't really looked closely, but it looks the same as the GT-S one. If the TE rear end will bolt up to the AE chassis then this should work fine.
