We get a ton of enquiries on these items and unfortunately manufacturer availability and shipping schedules don't always coincide with our inventory needs. It's got nothing at all to do with 'helping the community'. If I artifically created a backorder and said it would be a 1 week lead time, you would have still been left with the same result.
