 Staggered wheel effect? Reply  Edit

Ok. From what I've read staggered wheels will lead to more understeer. Is this true if the same size tire is run on all wheels? (17x7.5 front/17x8.5 rear with 225s all around)

I'm looking into wheels for the FR-S. I am not a skilled enough driver to mess with rims for track purposes, this is for DD and looks. I will be using stock wheels and using other things to tweak handling (tires, camber, etc) for weekend fun. With that said I would just go square setup if it really affects handling.

Yes & no, staggered wheels will lead to more understeer as its assumed the tires are staggered too, if in fact the tire widths are the same then the contact with road is the same an the slip angle of the tire is the same, the grip is the same, the car will handle the same lol
