20v rings different than 16 Reply  Edit

go I'm going to assemble this bt bottom end I have (spun a rod bearing) and went to put on some 16v rings and the 1st compression ring on the 20v piston is smaller that the 16v. very interesting. I didn't know this, what are you guys using for rings in your 20v's (stateside). I decided just to use my old rings as the engine had good compression and was just honed, but I'm missing one I only have 3. so if anyone has a std bt ring they wanna part with Lmk. if not. where are tall getting yours in the states

Some smallport rings should do the trick, upper compression ring is 1.2mm and lower is 1.5mm IIRC.
