Re: Toyota Part Numbers for 20v's (HASportAE86) » Reply  Edit

Dr. Hess posted this on the Locost list regarding ISC valve:

Toyota part numbers:
Buld Date Part Number
9106-9505 22270-16030
9605- 22270-16070

The first one is the silvertop. They appear to be 20v specific. You
could try some of the Toyota dealers and see if they can order you
one. I hear some dealers can get JDM stuff if you have the part number

for those looking for a throttle position sensor the part number is the same for the 2JZGTE, 3RZFE, 2RZFE, 5VZFE. IM currently using one from a 1995 tacoma with the 2rz engine.

And as far as spark plug wires go, you can use the 1994 4runner 4 cylinder model plugs. Even the coil wire fits right up. i lost the picture somewhere of someone who used them just fine.

Can you even use those part numbers and order them through the dealership?

I am doing a complete rebuild of a Blacktop and the only part I could get from Toyota is the Transmission seal and gasket kit. They told me they weren't allowed to sell any of the other parts. I am buying all the parts from Pass Racing as soon as I know what bearings to order.

I wonder if Toyota Canada policy on ordering parts differ from Toyota USA.

I've looked up JDM part numbers at our Toyota dealer and what it will display is that the part is at the warehouse and that's about as far as it will go. I'm not quiet sure what dealers like Cabe Toyota and Northridge Toyota are doing to get these? They are on a V.I.P list of people who can get them from the US warehouse in Torrance? or they order from Japan and have them shipped over like everyone else?

You can get them either from a electronics store - cheaper option [Sumitomo p/n 6189-0573]

or from Toyota [p/n 90980-11285]

Now that you mentioned it none of my usual digs (mouser electronics & digikey) carry sumitomo either.. best to call them directly.

FYI that connector has a MSRP of $5 on the Toyota EPC..

speed sensors are found on the tranny. Are you using the C52/C56 FWD transaxle that came with your engine?

No, this is a swap, the engine is mated to a 1970 Lotus Europa. I'm trying to accomplish 2 things: talk to the 20V M/T ECU, and drive an electric aftermarket speedometer.

thanks

Yeah, no more diagrams But still one of the best online parts reference sites. Organized almost exactly the same as our parts catalog we use at Toyota.
