8.9:1 CR 4AGZE Pistons. Anyone know where to buy them? Reply  Edit

I'm looking for a set of brand new 8.9:1 GZE pistons, .050 oversize, with OEM rings.

I've contacted Lithia Toyota and a few other sources but I'm having a hard time finding them.

I need new in box units only.

I've been told the part number is 13103-16100 for the pistons, but I'm unsure if this is for oversize units or regular ones. I also don't have the part number for the rings.

So on to my questions.

Does anyone have a source for these parts?

Are USDM 8.0:1 GZE piston rings the same as the 8.9:1 rings?

Anybody got the oversize piston ring part numbers?

Also there is nothing wrong with using the pistons with skirts designed for oil squirters in a block without squirters correct?

These pistons will be going into a 7-rib largeport.

Thanks for your help

I appreciate the reply, but the GZE pistons are already at the upper limit of my budget.

I have some of those pistons (PN 13103-16100)

I think they are the 8.5 to 1 .050 oversized pistons

I will have to find my 101 GZE pistons to compare them to

So from that link

Quote »
13101 PISTON SUB-ASSY, W/PIN
13101-16131-01 4AGZE..AE101; STD, MARK 1 4 $61.18

13101-16131-02 4AGZE..AE101; STD, MARK 2 4 $61.18

13101-16131-03 4AGZE..AE101; STD, MARK 3 4

13103-16131 4AGZE..AE101; O/S 0.50 4 $63.54

Now that I have the correct part number, does anyone know where to buy them? If I can get them for that price I'd be stoked

Thanks for your help so far.

edit: I asked lithia about that specific part number and it doesn't show up in their system.

I really need to get these on order ASAP in case they take a few months to get from japan. Can anybody help out?

Also does anybody know about the piston rings? Can I use USDM GZE piston rings or are the 8.9:1 piston rings specific to the 8.9:1 pistons?
