Wow really? I like the snappyness of +3,25, but for now i think im not at the reflex speed to catch it when its that snappy. What camber do you run?

In other news, I got some MR2 AW11 fans and threw them on with an AE92 Temp sensor. I have plenty of space up front, but If i want to get an Aftermarket Radiator id have to Delete my AC as the fanshroud already hits the AC Pressure hose. And just to note, the OEM snorket Up tube will not fit withthis shroud unless you delete the AC lines.

2 Relays just chillin.. you can see some of the wiring on the side of the airbox

Small video of My Temp Gauge with the Fans on... as I start to walk away they turn off, and you can hear my Pilot bearing clacking around... and a crappy view of the Temp Sensor with AE92 WaterHousing.

I dont find that castor really effects snappyness, that is more from how quick your car transfers weight. The more castor I run the more the steering wants to track, it does get heavier, but I find its worth it when it comes to really really fast but safe transitions. I run around 5 degrees of camber.

If you are only planning on running 2-3 degrees of camber may 4-5 degrees of castor would feel the same as my steering. This was all with my modded S13 knuckles. So I probably had all sorts of geometry **** coming into play.

edit:

Here is a video of my car from last year. This track/layout if a bad example of quick transitions without fighting the wheel because there is no transitions where I am not trying to push hard to make the next apex. But its the only video I have of the steering wheel.

With all the low castor numbers that Corolla people, and only Corolla people run, you would normally see the driver chasing and fighting the wheel to keep the wheel pointed forwards. The steering would be very light and pleasant but still fighting. This is not to say that it cant be mastered, my buddy in his SR86 here runs around 3 degrees, he kills it, and is snappy as all hell.

You can see that my front track the ground perfect, and all that I am doing is giving input to change my line. This makes your car as easy to drive as a 240, while keeping at response and quick nature that we all love.

ToeKnee805, could you give me some more info on the AW11 fan setup? I've been thinking about going to electric fans for a while now.

What would I need off the MR2? The fans and the 2 relays? Also, I've read the temp sensor off a FWD 4AC works too:

http://www.dreamsofdrifting.co...x.htm

How do you like it?

Finally, (unless it's secret) what's this switch?

My car doesn't have that.

Cutting up an AE86? Please me know! I need body panels!

Yeah the AW11 Fan conversion is pretty easy. All you need from the AW11 is the Fans with Shroud. And 2 Relays, About a Spool of 20 Gauge wire, an Inline Fuse Holder, a 30A fuse, and some Soldering supplies(or butt connectors)

Not sure on the 4ac Temp sensor, but I got mine from an FX16 GT-S, which is an ae92 Hatchback pretty much.

You will also need the accompanying Oring Seal, and Thermostat.

This is the diagram I used...

Wiring the fans probably took about an Hr or two, Insalling probly the same. Hard part is routing the wiring so you cant see it.

And so far so good, I like it. Im running same temps as I normally would iwth a clutch fan, but I can feel the engine rev up a little quicker and you can hear it in the exhaust that it has less load.

And finally that switch only comes with Hatchback corollas, it is for the Rear Window defroster. :)

years ago 2006 below...there was always a rule in WSIR or any drift event at socal..JD or DD.. that says :

no tandem or htm unless advanced or more than 5 events on the belt or unless permission from an instructor

couple of yrs ago other events joined in and forgot that rule and everythin went whatever .. ahem 7 car tandem w/ kids ..poorly handled events etc

sorry to chime in ..but many accidents in drifting are cause by inexperienced drivers ..i never follow or tandem with anyone who simply spins out on initiation or even transition ..not worth my time swapping a shell

goodluck dude

New wheels and new Painted bumper.
I did run 15x9 +15 all around, but the front wouldn't fit, and with 15 mill spacers they would stick out TOO much. So I went down to 15x8 0 offset for the front and 15x9 +15(w/ 20mm Spacer) in the rear. Running 195/50/15 on both the 8 wides and 9 wides. I gotta lower the rear a lil more, the stretched tire makes the car look super high in the rear.

We got some new club stickers made out of Reflective Vinyl that they use on Firefighter Trucks, Cop Cars, and Ambulances..
Day TOP, Night BOTTOM(No enhancements or Filters on these images)

Unfortunately in the accident my cars differential Broke, so now it peg legs. In the process of Buying a TRD 2 way.

Also go ahead and like us on facebook were currently working on paperwork to get some local track events up at the old DriftDay spot in Camarillo,CA.

Wheels look great. Is there any difference in the size of the lip between the 8" and 9" rim?

Yeah I believe the 8inch is a 2 inch lip or 2.5, and the 9 is a 3inch lip
