i have an 85 mr2 and today my timing belt broke off. i want to put a new one on.... is it worth it? if so i was wondering if any one had n e diagrams of all the timing marks. i know the crankshaft and the distributer but im not sure about the cams. please help

unless a mechanic thats worked on the car previously left you some on the cam wheels you pretty much better of paying someone to do it, if you look in the mr2 big green book it should explain it all for you, i will however recommend replacing the tensioner and oil seals and water pump at the same time, as they are under the cover and you dont want to pull it all apart to replace those 2000 miles later when one dies

the cams are marked aswell as the crank so it's easy to line up. it's just a pita given the location. definately change anything that needs to be changed while you're there. download the BGB it's a life saver. GL
