Unfortunately, I don't have anymore information other than it came from SUBARU.
Acquired by previous owner, floor mats had SUBARU emblem that fits PERFECT on AE86 chassis.
Could be from Legacy, Imprezza.....sorry!

Hey AE86Kai, quick question about this: what size hose are you running? 1/2"? Also, what material are the fittings? I noticed you can get the brass fittings cheap and at places like Home Depot The aluminum ones are a little more expensive though

That hose is AN10 (approx. ID 14.3mm).
My fittings are not aluminum nor brass that I think it is regular steel fittings.

It is really hard to locate OG style Yellow H4 Halogen bulbs nowdays.
My current one was purchased near 1/4 century ago and just start using them since last year.

Well, I found a solution to make ordinary H4 bulb into OG style yellow bulb.

Snap On Yellow Caps - Made in Germany, shipping to Japan took only 5 days.

Allright, since I am receiving same question frequently, here is a picture of actual floor mat that I am currently using.

Previous owner claims that they are OEM SUBARU mat that they used to have metal SUBARU emblems attached.

I do not know which SUBARU they are from but, I know that they fit PERFECTLY on RHD AE86 chassis.

Hello AE86Kai,
I am going to attempt to restore my zenki GTS bumper.
I was wondering if you would happen to remember what specific type of primer you used to repair your sweet JDM bumpers a while ago?
I found your old DIY> http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=29046
I was thinking of using this!> http://www.duplicolor.com/prod...rimer/
But I would rather just go with what you used.
Thanks,

-John

Hello.
If I remember correctly, I just used generic white primer that I don`t think it was from duplicolor.
But, I did used their Black Bumper Coating that is following product.
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/bumperCoating/

I also recommend Adhesion Promotor as well.
http://www.duplicolor.com/prod...moter/

I wish I could use duplicolor products here in J-land that auto spray paints are VERY expensive here.
Good luck with your project and post some before and after pictures!

ok so some research for these mats have shown your mats are out of a 02-07 suby wrx GD8 chasis. i found these for sale by some one in jland. check the pics. hopefully the LHD mats will fit my USDM ae86 like your RHD mats fit your JDM AE86

here is a pic of the 02-07 usdm suby LHD mats. they may fit lol it would probably fit really well if our cars had dead pedals. i may go looking at junk yards to see if these will fit for sure.

ae86kai thanks so much for posting the pics of your mats
