Where did you get the RA45 adapter? I have the motor in a AE71 and need to use the ITB's instead of the single throttle body.

Been a while since I've posted an update. Currently having clutch trouble. Not even 4,000 miles on it yet and I'm already having problems. Has something to do with the pressure plate. Pulling the tranny tonight so we'll see what I find.

Any recommendations on a clutch brand???

if you are using the supra box i put the imput bearing into the back of the crank can buy a 16mm single race 1 and that might help also on the supra boxes w55/57/58 i use 1 litre of dextrin 3 auto trans and 1 litre of 75w gear oil

and you could also be over clutching on your pedal ratio
might need to put a stop under the clutch pedal
these are the things i did to make the gear changing better
also if you are using a aftermarket pressure plate get them to beef up the straps on the side of the pressure plate
the altezza pressure plate is pretty good as std ,but we beef them up to stop them snapping

Well... pulled he clutch and found................................. nothing. Clutch and pressure plate look like they have about 4000 miles on them. I'm replacing the stamped steel clutch fork with a cast one and I bought a 3/4" bore clutch master cylinder. I don't think the clutch fork is the problem but I'm hoping the new master cylinder fixes the problem. We'll see.

Currently staying super busy with the 1uz cressida project. Need clutch lines and clutch kit before I can set the v8 in the engine bay. Going 5-lug, big brakes, big wheels... gonna be fun

Clutch fork was a failure... supra clutch for is too short.

But 3/4" bore clutch master cylinder solved my problem. Got everything finished last night and it feels great.

great build, would you ever consider duplicating any of the machined parts you made? mainly exhaust flange? if so I'd buy one.

i like how this build turned out, gave me a lot of ideas for my swap.

I was told by a local shop after I made my flange that I could've just bought one. Said it was a part they carried. I'll contact them to confirm and see if I can get some details.

Like?????

Nothing really to update. Using my corolla as a daily until I can get the cressida finished. It's running super rich which is driving me nuts. Planning to switch back to the 4.3 final drive. Clutch is feeling great.

Hoping between getting a tune and the ring and pinion swap I'll be happy with it. If not, I'll be looking at cams and valve train. Really want to get paint and body work done soon.

what length stacks did you get? I'm thinking about upgrading from my T3 stacks as well since I'm also not all that happy with the fitment.

also any updates on where to buy a header flange?

I believe the stacks are 70mm. And the shop with the exhaust flange is Alamo Autosports... http://www.alamoautosports.com/

I contacted them and they said they were out of stock on the flanges and hadn't received any orders to justify machining a batch of them.

Got an idea... why don't you make a thread about all of the parts you make/sell and quit advertising in my build thread. You were a bit of an a$$ when I bought the first manifold from you due to a misunderstanding and I love reading your posts about how I did my swap wrong.
